Refund & Exchange Policy – The Uni Store
Exchanges will be given within 30 days from date of purchase. The original receipt must be provided as proof of purchase. Products and packaging must be returned in original condition. Exchanges after 30 days are limited to comply with consumer rights only. Please choose carefully, as refunds will not be given if you simply change your mind, or make the wrong decision.
Please choose carefully when selecting sale items, magazines, newspapers, or movie tickets, as no refund or exchange will be given on these items.
The Uni Store will assess the condition and age of all returned goods prior to offering a refund, exchange, or repair. You can choose between and exchange or refund if an item has a major problem. This is when it doesn’t do what we said it would, is unsafe, is significantly different from the sample or description, or has a problem which would have prevented someone else from purchasing it. If the problem is not major, it will be repaired within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired within a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.
Exchanges made in store will be processed immediately. Returns by mail however, will take a minimum of two weeks to process. In the case of online purchase, customers may be liable for return postage costs. The Uni Store must be notified within 30 days of intention to return goods purchased online. Receipt must be retained as proof of purchase. In the event of a product with a major problem being purchased online, the refund will take a minimum of four weeks to process.
